When you choose Harry Joshua Designs, you're choosing the best in quality and service. We aim to make the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Here's how we work ...

• Our First Meeting

Before anything, we'll arrange a day and time to come out to you and have a chat. We understand that work is busy and life is hectic, so we can accommodate evening appointments that suit you.

During this initial meeting, we will get an idea of the space we are working with and discuss how you use your kitchen now - what does and doesn't work. And we'll look at any designs and ideas you have found. I'll also ask whether you are considering structural changes like knocking walls down. From this discussion, I will be able to suggest potential layouts.

While at your home, we will take full measurements to start working on your complimentary 3D CAD kitchen Design. We will then look at your must-haves and nice-to-haves, all whilst working within your budget.

• The Design

After our initial meeting, we will create a kitchen design to meet your brief, using 3D visualisation. We will present this to you at our next meeting so you can get a real feel for what your new kitchen will look like.  The 3D images will bring the project to life and help us work through the finer details together.

• Final Changes

This is when we finalise the design and choose door styles, colours, handles, and your beautiful new appliances. I will bring samples to give you time to decide on your favourites.

• Survey

Working with my highly experienced and professional team of builders, plumbers, and electricians, a final survey is carried out before the kitchen is fitted.

You'll never have to worry about miscommunication between tradesmen or delays because we manage the whole project and everyone involved from start to finish. Allowing you to relax knowing everything is in capable and experienced hands.

• Installation

The big day has finally arrived! We work with you to ensure this is as stress-free as possible.

We can even set up a temporary kitchen for you while we work, and we'll always leave white goods in until the last minute so that you can carry on with your washing and other essentials without too much disruption!

• Completion

Your incredible new kitchen is here. Our clients comment on how quick and easy the process was for them.

How long does the installation process take?

Bog-standard off-the-shelf kitchen companies often take 6 weeks to complete a kitchen installation project, keep changing the goalposts, and miss important details. But I know how inconvenient and disruptive it is to be without your kitchen and white goods for too long.

This is why our customers love our 4-week turnaround time and detailed timeframe for work milestones. My team and I work hard to complete your job swiftly. So you can start enjoying your new kitchen even sooner than you imagined!

Do you offer a guarantee?

Of course. All bespoke kitchens come with a 10-year guarantee. What sets us apart is that our quality, bespoke kitchens are built and fitted to last.

Can you work to a set budget?

Certainly, I provide detailed quotes so you can see exactly where your money is going. There are no hidden extras and no last-minute costs. Our bespoke kitchen design and installation prices start from £20k with exact quotes depending on your space, configuration, and extra work required such as plastering and moving electrics, as well as your kitchen and appliance choices.

Do I have to arrange electricians and other tradesmen separately? 

No. I will manage every step of your journey from design, plan and fit to completion. I manage all the work myself (I often do a lot of the work myself, too!), so I am directly responsible for your project.

My team are equally experienced and established fitters, electricians, plumbers, and builders. However, if you have preferred tradesmen you would like to use for parts of your project, I am more than happy to facilitate this.

What if I am considering getting a new kitchen but don’t know where to start?

That’s ok, too! Some clients know exactly what they would like (although I often suggest things they hadn’t thought of).

Others appreciate guidance and inspiration from an experienced design team. The beauty of a well-planned and designed kitchen is that it works for your lifestyle and who and how you will use it.
